HOW TO PREPARE FOR A SHOOT

OUTFIT FOR THE PHOTO SHOOT:

The outfit for a photo shoot is just as important as the right makeup and hairstyle.
The outfit for a photo shoot depends on the type of shoot. For a Christmas photo shoot we will dress differently and for a boho photo shoot differently.
There are a few details to keep in mind in order to make the photographer's work easier and save yourself some extra costs for additional retouching.

The first important rule is to listen to the photographer, his/her suggestions of outfits, colours and possible patterns, because he/she sees you and knows what will look good on your photos.

The second and very important rule is to avoid clothes with logos, prints and intense patterns. These types of applications are too eye-catching and even bring chaos.
Why not?
The reason is simple. It is you who should be the most important during the session, not your clothes or cute little animals on your children's clothes.

Another thing is to decide in advance, especially during the studio session, what colour the background will be and match it to the outfit. Often, even if you know that the background will be black, you come wearing black clothes. If this is the intention, it is fine, but if not, I often hear requests to lighten the trousers during the photo processing.

Clothes must be ironed and clean. Any creases or stains or visible tears are another thing to retouch and you probably want to get the photos in the shortest possible time.

AESTHETICS AT THE PHOTO SHOOT:

The principle is the same as for the outfit. It depends on the theme of the shoot but there are two important points.
For a studio session it is categorically forbidden to use highlighter and the make-up must be done with a 5500k lamp. Otherwise, all the imperfections and spots will come out on the photos.
For outdoor sessions, highlighter is allowed, but the make-up must be done in daylight.
An additional and very important issue is eyebrows and facial hair on women. Depilation above all, because you look more aesthetically pleasing.
This does not apply to men as long as you look good with a beard.
It's also very important that your hands and nails are clean and painted flesh-coloured, unless the session requires more vivid colours. Bitten nails must be filed evenly. Any loose cuticles must be removed. If you have artificial nails then they must be complete and topped up. No more hiding a finger because a tip has fallen off.
There must be no drawings, marker residues or artificial tattoos on the skin of children.
The hair must be clean and if you have just had a haircut, the hair residue, usually on the forehead, chin or clothing, must be removed from the face.
Hair regrowth must be dyed and the dye residue removed from the skin.

If I think something else is important, I will certainly add it here.
